Indianapolis Colts Internship

Indianapolis Colts

I began working for the Colts as a Graphic Design Intern in March of 2018, then became a full-time employee in the summer of 2019. I enjoy continuing to watch the Colts brand evolve, and executing brand assets in a way that is consistent and visually appealing. As you look through my work, you’ll see that I’m exposed to a great mix of both digital and print design. Collaborating with other talented content creators in our department, and seeing their work, is an inspiration. Having the opportunity to work collaboratively with other departments is a great learning experience in communication, understanding the needs and considerations of those departments, and meeting their needs while also letting my creativity fly.

2022 Junior Cheer Registration Social and Web Graphics

Below are digital promotional graphics used to promote Colts Junior Cheer registration. As you can see, some slightly different design assets are utilized for these graphics; such as the swirls and the sparkle background. I’ve enjoyed exploring how we can continue to push these different assets, while also remaining on brand.

Cyber Monday No Fee Ticket Offer Social and Web Graphics

The imagery of Leonard is what drove the text design of these graphics. I wanted the shape of the “Maniac Monday” text to almost fall in line with the direction of his scream, and further convey that screaming effect in its orientation and direction.

Community Relations/Meijer Sacking Hunger Poster

In 2021, I designed this 12x18 poster as a giveaway for fans who donated non-perishable food items at one of our home games.
Given the “sacking hunger” phrasing, each year these posters also serve to highlight our defensive players.

Away Game Watch Party Posters and Social Graphics

In 2021, I was tasked with creating print and digital materials to promote two separate away game watch party events. One event took place outside during a day game and was more family friendly (the white and blue versions). The other event was during a night game and targeted fans 21 and over (the blue and black versions). I wanted the designs to be similar, but also have qualities that differentiated them, as they were very different events. Color served to create distinction between the two events. I won’t show every social graphic below (as they were similar), but I will show a select few.

Allegiant Hall of Fans Promotion Social Graphics

Below is digital creative I made to help launch the Allegiant Hall of Fans promotion, which gave fans the opportunity to enter to have their picture displayed on Terrace Level fan banners at the stadium. I wanted to create designs that gave an indication of what the fan could win, without being a mockup of the banner itself.

50/50 Gameday Raffle Sign

Below is the front and back of a raffle sign designed for use on game days. Raffle ticket sellers can hold this sign by using the thumb hole indicated on the bottom, center of the sign. I did not design the 50/50 Raffle logo.

General Event Player Banners

I had the opportunity to design four vertical, player banners to display at Colts events throughout the year. These were displayed at the 2018 Colts Draft Party at Scotty's Brewhouse (see image below)!

Ticketing Group Sales Brochure

Below is a Group and Hospitality Guide created for the Ticketing department. This brochure highlights group benefits and experiences, among other information. The stadium map and group pricing information had already been created for the previous year.

Blue Friday Social Graphics

Below are the Blue Thursday and Blue Friday graphics designed for social media, including Facebook, Paid Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.

Hair and Face Painting Tent Wall

The two tent walls below were designed for use at the hair and face painting stations inside Touchdown Town, the pre-game party located outside of Lucas Oil Stadium.

“Guess The Colts Season Opener” Contest Web Ads and Social Graphics

The below graphics, as with any graphics on my website, can be clicked for a closer view. You may notice the 1200x628 size
appears different compared to the rest of the graphics. Facebook requires that paid Facebook ads be 20% or less text, which is why
much of the graphic is taken up by an image.

“With The Next Pick” Series Logo Design

The Colts Content team were tasked with creating a logo for the “With the Next Pick” web series. This five-part series on Colts.com gives fans a close look at the Colts scouting operation and the 2019 NFL Draft. As a team, we collaborated and provided feedback on the various logos we each created. The final logo, inspired by my design, was animated and used in this series. The final logo was chosen from my original logo exploration. As always, feel free to click on any image to get an enlarged view.
